button.buy “Buy”↑↓BuyPoint
Press ⇧⌘A, then click an element, drag an area or ⌥ a line of text. Aki reads what is under your mark.
Point at anything on your Mac. Aki sends the exact text and element to the right agent session — a picture only when it helps, so it spends fewer tokens.
$ curl -fsSL https://aki-updates.vercel.app/aki-install.sh | shAki, running on a Mac
Hover and the element lights up with its selector. The arrows walk the screen; ⌘↑ makes it bigger, ⌘↓ smaller.
Works with the agents you already use, in any terminal or editor
Many agents at once
Every note lands in the right terminal. A page on localhost goes to the worktree serving that port; anything else goes to the ring you pick. No copy-paste, no “wait, which tab was that?”
One project at a time? You still stop describing UI in words.
button.buy “Buy”↑↓BuyPress ⇧⌘A, then click an element, drag an area or ⌥ a line of text. Aki reads what is under your mark.
Type what should change. Queue as many marks as you like; edit or remove any of them.
⏺ aki · read_annotations 3 pending for ~/halo ⏺ Update(src/halo/Hero.tsx) ✓ resolve_annotation 1, 2, 3
⌘⏎. Your agent reads it over MCP, fixes it and marks each one resolved.
Browsers, Finder, Figma, Xcode, terminals. If it is on your screen, you can mark it.
button.btn.primary “Save”↑↓Aki asks the page what is under your mark: the exact element, a unique selector, its text and HTML — even the React component’s file in dev builds.
localhost:3000A page on localhost belongs to a project. Aki sends the marks to the agent session working on it.
Seconds after you send, the agent picks your marks up on its own. No copy, no paste.
↑ ↓ ← → go to the next thing above, below or beside. ⇧ with an arrow adds it to the mark. ⌘↑ takes what’s around it, ⌘↓ goes back inside, down to CSS ::after arrows. ⏎ marks what’s outlined.
Each mark sends the text it covers; a small picture goes along only when what you marked is visual. A screenshot can cost over a thousand tokens — the text in it, a few dozen.
One ring per agent session, grouped by project: working, waiting for you, marks pending, context and usage limits. Click one to mark for that session.
Start marking from your launcher. Aki adds its own Raycast commands, and each one can get its own hotkey.
Follows your Mac’s appearance live, with Aki’s red, your Mac’s accent or the system colour.
127.0.0.1~/.akiThe server runs inside the app, on 127.0.0.1. Your marks are stored on your Mac and go only to the agent you choose.
$ aki list 3 marks for ~/halo $ aki wait … $ aki done aki_17…ab12
Agents read, wait for and resolve your marks over MCP, or with aki list, aki wait and aki done.
⇧⌘H shows everything you marked and its size. Done marks and old pictures go away on their own, and updates install themselves.
Like ⌘⇧4: the app below keeps its focus. An open menu stays open, a selection stays selected. Hold ⇧ to use the page below; let go and Aki is back.
Each mark’s picture also goes to the clipboard, so ⌘V pastes it anywhere: a chat, a doc, an issue. Settings turns it off.

FAQ
A Mac with Apple Silicon on macOS 14 or later, and a coding agent that speaks MCP, like Claude Code or Codex.
Claude Code and Codex connect in one click (Settings → Agents). Any agent that speaks MCP can read your marks. It runs alongside whatever you use: Orca, Ghostty, iTerm2, Warp, Terminal, or the terminal inside VS Code, Cursor or Zed.
No. Aki works over any app. In Chrome it reads the element under your mark through Apple Events (turn on “Allow JavaScript from Apple Events” once). An extension comes later, for what that cannot reach.
Each agent session is a ring on the sidebar, grouped by project. A page on localhost goes to the session working on that project. Anything else goes to the session you picked, or the last one you used.
Aki stores marks on your Mac and shares them with your chosen agent over local MCP. That agent may send content to its AI provider. Updates and downloads contact external services.

It sounds like “aqui”, Portuguese for “here”. Which is exactly what you say when you point at something.
